Welcome to the Heart of America Contact Lens Society website. We strive to make this website user friendly. This site will allow you to register for our upcoming meeting February 12-14, 2010. It is designed for use by our attending Doctors, Exhibitors/Sponsors, Technicians, and Students. If you have questions or suggestions not addressed by the website, feel free to contact myself by email at president1@hoacls.org.
The Heart of America Contact Lens Society board is made-up of 14 volunteer doctors and their spouses. Our purpose and philosophy have been to put on the most engaging and informative meeting possible in a weekend setting. You will see nationally known speakers as well as new and fresh cutting edge approaches.
The “Heart” provides a forum for colleagues to meet with old friends, classmates, and enjoy a fabulous exhibit hall while participating in a great educational program.
With the support of our member doctors, exhibitors, and corporate sponsors, the “Heart” was able to provide scholarships and educational grants of nearly $100,000 last year. This has been a long term policy of the Board. We believe that we should not only advance and educate the current profession, but help grow the future for students and patients.
